Hi there! All of us Tulgey Wood would greatly appreciate a donation from you this Giving Tuesday. Tulgey Wood is a tiny nonprofit. Our annual budget is less than $30,000 a year. With a small budget, volunteer leadership and a community of passionate people, we bring together people with and without disabilities for ten days or friendship, adventure, arts and exploration on Nantucket. The Nantucket community donates boat trips, ferry rides, museum visits, theater space, delicious meals, and so much else that makes our what we do possible.
At the heart of Tulgey Wood is the belief that friendship and community make all our lives better. We take time to slow down, deepen friendships and create a sense of belonging that so many of us do not get every other day of the year. We try to make sure the same people can return year after year. No one pays to attend and no one gets paid, though many people donate what they can. Fun, love, and joy motivate this community to come together every year.
